The itinerary
Your Niagara day, hour by hour
8:00 AM
Hotel pickup in downtown Toronto
Your guide and driver meet you in the lobby. Coffee on board, and the story of the lake shore begins before we leave the city.
8:30 AM
The Toronto to Niagara Falls drive
West along the Queen Elizabeth Way, past Hamilton harbour and up the Niagara Escarpment — the fruit belt, the canal and the war of 1812 told the whole way.
10:00 AM
Niagara-on-the-Lake
Queen Street, the Prince of Wales, the Shaw Festival and the old garrison town — time to walk, shop and photograph Canada's prettiest main street.
11:30 AM
Reif Estate Winery
A tasting on the Niagara River parkway with our friend Klaus W. Reif's team — including the icewine the region is known for.
1:00 PM
Lunch on the parkway
A winery or riverside table of your choosing. We book it for you in advance so nothing is rushed.
2:30 PM
Niagara Falls — the brink
Table Rock and the Horseshoe Falls at the rail, with time for the Hornblower boat, Journey Behind the Falls or the SkyWheel if your group would like it.
4:30 PM
Clifton Hill & the Niagara Parkway
The bright side of the Falls, then the slow scenic road back through the whirlpool and the Floral Clock.
6:30 PM
Back at your Toronto hotel
Door to door, one guide, one vehicle, no queues to work out yourself.

Where we take you
Niagara Falls & Niagara-on-the-Lake on the map
Niagara Falls, Ontario sits about 130 km south of Toronto — roughly 90 minutes each way along the QEW, with Niagara-on-the-Lake a further 20 minutes north along the Niagara Parkway. Doing both in one day only works comfortably with a private driver and guide, which is exactly what this tour is.
